Volunteer with Hawaii Village Build

Are you interested in joining a team with Hawaii Village Build (HVB)? If you’re at least 16 years of age, are in good health, are exciting to explore different cultures, you can help build strength, stability, and self-reliance in a local community by joining a Hawaii Village Build trip.

As a Hawaii Village Build volunteer, you will:

  • Lend a helping hand to those in need of decent shelter as you learn about the local and national housing needs.
  • Donate valuable funds to Hawaii Village Build program and your hosting Affiliate.
  • Engage in Habitat for Humanity’s local construction and community projects, such as building homes, renovating homes, or disaster recovery.
  • Increase your cross-cultural understanding by exploring Hawaii’s historical sites and museums.
  • Discover how to become a long-term advocate for affordable housing.

Construction skills are helpful but not necessary; we’ll teach you what you need to know! You’ll have the satisfaction of seeing the tangible results of your work, and the reward of knowing that you’ve supported a family in achieving their goals and improving their lives.

Your trip will be funded through your fundraising efforts or your direct donation to the cause.
